Holy Prophet (SAW) as saying: “Verily, I am leaving among you two weighty (very important) things. You will not go astray after me as long as you adhere to them. One is greater than the other is; the Book of Allah and my household. They will never separate from one another until they shall come to me at the Pond (in Paradise).”

As the saying of the Holy Prophet (saw) tells us that to achieve success and not go astray we have to learn about the Holy Quran and from the source that is the Holy Household (as) of the Prophet (saw).

When:

Tafsir classes take place on Saturday’s every week, immediately after Fajr prayers for about an hour, followed by breakfast. The classes are held by the Resident Alim, Maulana Mehboob Mehdi.

Exclusions:

During the month of Muharram and Ramadhan these programs do not run to accommodate momineen to participate in the regular daily programs in those months.

History:

Hujjat ul-Islam as-Saiyed Mehboob Mehdi ‘Abidi al-Najafi has been offering the tafsir sessions since the very start of IEC for about twenty years and has spend considerable amount of time to research the different Tafasir of different sects and presents it to the community members in a concise and clear manner.
